Hi there!
I'm a 17-year-old transmasc artist currently living in Wisconsin. I was raised by my Hispanic mom and my cousin's family. While my blood said I was Mexican, I grew up with more of an Americanized childhood, which caused me to act differently from my relatives. Being a relatively anxious person made socializing a bit more difficult, so instead I turned to art. I started drawing when I was 5, making plot-heavy stories to go along with them. At first, I based my drawings on my life: my parents' arguments and my absent father, disputes over my friends, and family dynamics. As I changed, so did my art style and my focus. While my art lost the heavy plot, I still created characters, drew scenarios and characters for others, and drew myself how I wanted to be seen by the world. I started becoming more social, albeit still anxious, and even began getting praised for what I created by teachers and others. I still have so much to learn in my life, but I'm prepared to learn all of it and show the world my world through the drawings I create.
