Photojournalism
I'm usually not a person who enjoys taking pictures, even when it comes to my loved ones. I'm accustomed to seeing people with filters and perfectly composed angles. I did take a photojournalism class(as per my resume); however, I began using my skills after that year of school was over. I've gotten a lot better at taking photos, with less blurriness and more definition, right after I got my first kitten. As one would expect, I poured all of my skills into my cat, which leads to this picture. I had been admiring my cat experiencing her first Christmas, when I managed to get this picture through the tree, with her at the bottom. It reminds me that even a cat can have the same wonder at small moments. It was a perfect moment that is now preserved forever, and that should be the same for every future photo of mine.

This is a bit of an example of my photojournalism skills being used a bit later than needed. I went to an aquarium, and since I am an ocean creature enthusiast, I figured to include this lovely image of two penguins that were actually in the background, compared to the rest of the group. It goes to show that even on the sidelines, there could be very important, and in this case, adorable, moments happening all around us that often don't get highlighted as much as everything else in the world.
