Writing and Reporting

Writing, although not a complete passion for me, comes fairly easily. If it interests me, I can write for hours about a single topic, providing clear explanations for various concepts. When I entered the journalism track, I got the chance to write a feature article on whatever I pleased as long as it could be backed up factually. I enjoyed making this article because it gave me the chance to write more professionally and get a feel for sharing news and topics in a professional setting.

As time went by, I became better at writing professionally. In 2025, I decided to revisit an idea that had been simmering in my head since the beginning of 2020: how the world has suddenly become more paranoid in recent years. This idea was dormant for a while until the recent onslaught of people panicking online over ICE raids that were occurring in several states. I wanted to share my voice on this topic, despite not running into a scenario involving ICE, but the effects it had on my family gave me reason to explain the recent fears people have had lately over many things happening both in the US and around the world. It may not be the best work about this topic, but it came from a place inside my heart.
