Podcast

Growing up, podcasting was never really something I was interested in. Sure, I enjoyed listening to videos online, but podcasts just felt like a weird talk show with debates over which opinion was better. All of that changed when I went into podcasting in 2024. I felt like I could control the media that a lot of people struggled to understand in daily life. People, especially adults, didn’t understand the situations I was in, so I decided to make that the inspiration behind my podcast. The Teenage “Dream” ended up being a way where me could make sure unbiased thoughts could be shown to people like me who feel that the world of podcasts only has one goal. These are just a few of the episodes that debuted on my show.

Episode 3

All In The Family

A lot of the time, I kept my own struggles to myself; I never allowed myself to express my issues without my family questioning me. In Podcasting, I finally got that chance. This episode allowed me to talk about things that have happened to me without actually saying it. I may not have solved the issue, but getting my thoughts out helped me so much more than I could ever expect.

Episode 4

Tis The Season

As much as I love the holidays, a lot of the time, it was more stressful than wonderful: wearing uncomfortable outfits, being tasked with helping to make desserts and food, and being stretched to the social limit with several family members. This episode was more of a rant, but I still had fun making it. It was almost like making fun of my own life without actually beating myself up for it. In the end, we're all just in the same boat trying to survive.

Episode 7

Opinions vs Opinions

This is another personal one for me. I've been told that I'm "crazy" by my family-especially my parents, for having different ideals or disagreeing with their opinions. This made me the black sheep of my family, but here, it's the opposite. My opinions create these episodes, and I love every second of it.

Episode 11

Dancing In The Moonlight

Going to prom was hard; a million things were running through my brain, especially outfits. I ended up thrifting and wearing a suit. After the whole ordeal, I thought, "I should find a way to make this a permanent memory." After a lot of research, this lovely episode was born.

Episode 12

Multicolor Sets of Flags

If my art or my bio didn't already spell it out for you, I am a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community. I found out during middle school, and from that point on, I felt as if I needed to double-check things to make sure I never accidentally judged someone. Of course, I began to go to Pride fests, but later I learned that Men's Mental Health Month also happened at the same time. After that, it made me question just how much the financial gain from Pride merchandise overshadowed other things. This episode is a reflection of that thought, and honestly, it reminds me of how many things are invisible in people's lives until they learn about them in some way.
